My stay at Mountain Valley Inn had its highs and lows. The location was convenient but near a hospital, so be prepared for sirens. The rooms were a letdown due to being filthy and run down, despite finally getting a better room after several changes. The dining options were quite poor, with a minimal breakfast spread. On the bright side, the service was decent, and the facilities were adequate.

My stay at the hotel was a bit disappointing as the rooms were not clean, with human hair on all pillows, dirty laundry in the shower, and spills on the floor. It seemed like they were lacking maintenance, evident from the black streaks, dust, and dirt in the room. However, the service was surprisingly good, especially the housekeeper who went out of their way to return lost jewelry. The location was convenient, though the proximity to the hospital meant frequent sirens. The dining options were minimal, with just basic breakfast items provided.

The hotel is conveniently located close to downtown and a fantastic coffee shop, offering good parking. The rooms are clean, with no issues found, and the service, despite being short-handed, tried to make guests comfortable. However, the dining options were limited to basic items, and the area felt a bit shady. Overall, reasonable value for money.
